A traditional holiday cottage to rent in Burnham Overy Staithe

Ground Floor
White french doors lead into a spacious kitchen/dining room. The dining table sits six comfortably. On a sunny day the french doors can open onto the English cottage garden where there is also a table and six chairs.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is a kettle, toaster, coffee plunger, fine bone china crockery together with cutlery, glassware and an assortment of cooking equipment.
A European style laundry is in a cupboard in the corner and contains a washing machine and dryer.
A downstairs loo is next to the hallway.
The bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite is also on the ground floor.
First Floor
A fisherman's cottage style staircase and leads to the first floor sitting room. Headroom is low, but the room is much larger than most cottages and two sofas, an assortment of comfy chairs and a workstation provide a very comfortable and cosy feel. Views out to the harbour and the sea wall can become entrancing.
Second Floor
Another narrow staircase then leads us up to the two bedrooms on the top floor. The west bedroom is slightly larger and has a kingsize bed, two bedside tables and a chest of drawers. In winter it has views over the marsh to the Royal West Norfolk Golf club. In summer you’ll see squirrels darting along branches of the leafy trees to the west. The second bedroom is cosier with two single beds, a bedside table and a chest-of-drawers. Year round it has views over the creek and marsh towards the sand dunes which some argue are the best views in the village.
A family bathroom is on this floor where there is a loo, basin and shower over the bath.
